I love nature, so attempting to capture a small expression of its wonder to share with others is one of my greatest pleasures. I enjoy photographing landscapes, flowers, and wildlife because of the diversity—the cornucopia of color and texture, and the amazing beauty of God’s creation. Someone recently asked, when viewing one of my photos on canvas, if I had painted it? I replied, “No, God painted it, I just took a picture of it!” I like to find unusual angles, close-ups, and revealing views that most people never get to see.

Much of my work was captured on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, where my wife and I have vacationed for many years. I love Kauai because of its natural beauty and non-commercialism. Just being on this island, breathing its clean ocean air and experiencing nature gone wild, inspires me and my photography. The views are breathtaking, the flora striking, and the grandeur profound. I also love the people, the music, and the food! I hope my photographs will express some of their Aloha to you, and make you smile!
